What is the cost of applying for admission?

For Graduate Degree Programs, a non-refundable processing fee of $60.00 for Domestic and $70 for International. For Certificate Programs, a non-refundable fee of $60 for both Domestic and International.

What is the cost of applying for readmission to graduate school?

For Graduate Degree Programs, a non-refundable readmission fee of $150.00. For Certificate Programs, a non-refundable fee of $60.

On the Slate Application Page for the student, the graduate coordinator will use the “Email Update Request Form” link. This will serve as an electronic approval/signature for the change. The student must then complete the form.

If a student is returning to the university after an absence and wants to pursue a new degree rather than the same degree to which he/she was originally admitted, what is required?

If the student is returning for a new degree, a new graduate application, $60 (Domestic) or $70 (International) non-refundable processing fee, transcripts, and any other documents required by the department must be submitted.

If a currently enrolled graduate student wants to work on a second graduate degree simultaneously, what is required?

A new graduate application, $60 (Domestic) or $70 (International) non-refundable processing fee, and approval from BOTH departments to work on the two degrees at the same time are required.

If a student must withdraw from the university due to military obligation, what is required for readmission?

A student may apply for readmission by selecting the “returner application” link on the online Graduate Application Form and a copy of the deployment orders must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. The $150 readmission fee will be waived when an absence from the University is a result of military obligation.

What qualifies as an official transcript or document?</h2 hidden> Transcripts and diplomas sent through email are not considered official documents. Official transcripts and credentials, such as degree certificates, are issued directly by the granting institution where the coursework was completed, or the degree was earned with original seals, stamps, and/or signatures. Officially certified transcripts or degree certificates can be hard-copy photocopies of the original document provided by the issuing institution, the U.S. Consolate’s Education/Culture Departments (or representatives), or by limited U.S. sponsoring agencies (such as Fulbright, IREX, etc.). Notarized copies of transcripts/credentials are not accepted in leu of official or officially certified documents.
