The Career Center
The Career Center offers a variety of services specifically for Graduate Students including dedicated Career Education Managers representing all eight colleges. To further engage with Career Center resources, join Handshake, a job portal for posting jobs, internships, registering for the Career Fair, and more!
Success in graduate school, and beyond, requires that you take advantage of resources and opportunities to develop your skills. The Career Center is the primary resource for career services on campus and partners with the Graduate School to help provide resources like the Graduate Professional Development Series.
GTA, GRA, GSA Appointments
Graduate students interested in GTA, GRA, GSA appointments and hourly employment positions should contact their advisor and their departmental graduate coordinator for the process to apply and deadlines.
Exploring Career Opportunities for Graduate Students Grant
The Graduate School and Career Center provide grants each year for professional development opportunities designed to help all graduate students explore careers outside the academy. Funding is also provided for initiatives offering soft skills training. While proposals must be submitted by faculty, graduate students are encouraged to discuss desired training with their faculty and advisers. Students and faculty may direct questions regarding the grants to the Associate Dean of the Graduate School.
