GradSpace — You Belong Here
The GradSpace is a space exclusively designed for CSU graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.
The Graduate School created this new space for the graduate community to provide a designated place for students and postdocs from across the university to connect with peers. It’s a great place to socialize, work, collaborate, recharge, and find your graduate community.
Hours and Location
Monday — Thursdays: 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Fridays: 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Closed on weekends, and on university holidays.

Events at the GradSpace

ETD Drop-In Hours

Rooms and Spaces
The GradSpace offers drop-in communal areas, a reservable meeting room, and study spaces and a mixed use quiet space.
The suite also serves as a hub for meetings, training sessions, and workshops. Learn more in the room descriptions below.
Reservable Meeting Room
The GRADitude Room is exclusively available for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to reserve.
- Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- No reservation fees.
- Reservations can be made up to 182 days in advance.
- Maximum occupancy: 30.
- Features an 85″ wall-mounted display for presentations or hybrid meetings — USB and HDMI (including HDMI to USB-C adaptor) cables are provided.
- Microsoft Teams Room system, a keyboard, and a mouse.
- Logitech Rally camera and audio
- IT support is not provided.
- Please leave the keyboard, mouse, and controllers where you found them so they’re available for the next group.
How to reserve the GRADitude room
- Sign in to your university email account
- Create a meeting in Microsoft Teams or Outlook calendar.
- Invite everyone who will attend the meeting.
- Add GRAD GRADitude Room as the meeting room / location.
- If the room is available, it will automatically accept the invitation. You’ll receive an acceptance email confirming your reservation.
Study Spaces
No reservations are required; space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Scholar Nook: This area includes two double desks and four individual desks, with sit-stand options for the individual desks.
- GradPod: A private study room designed for one person, ideal for focused work or study.
Restorative Nook
This private room provides a quieter space for various purposes, including:
- Refuge space
- Prayer
- Meditation
- Reflection
- Virtual meetings
