Welcome to the Graduate School at Colorado State University! CSU is one of the nation’s leading public land-grant research universities. We are especially known for our teaching and learning excellence; transformational research and artistry; and public service at home and abroad. We are also known for our welcoming and caring environment. All students, faculty, and staff are members of the Ram Family, and we stand together to uphold our values, codified as our Principles of Community — inclusion, integrity, respect, service, and social justice.
The Graduate School provides the leadership for graduate education at CSU. Our mission is to ensure the highest academic program standards while enhancing your personal and professional growth through innovative professional development and mentoring programs. I encourage you to visit our Graduate Programs webpage to learn more about our degrees and certificates. Browse our website to explore the professional development opportunities, CSU Writes offerings, and the mentorship focus of the Graduate Center for Inclusive Mentoring offered to support graduate students beyond their academic training. Come learn why more than 90% of our students have secured career-related plans by graduation and would choose CSU again for graduate school!
More than 6,500 resident and distance graduate students are part of the CSU Ram Family. Our students come from around 90 different countries and are enrolled in more than 140 doctorate, master’s, and professional degree programs. This breadth of diversity, with regard to learning opportunities, geographical reach, and program diversity, reflects the land-grant mission of CSU, which is to provide access to educational opportunities, regardless of one’s background or circumstances. I am deeply committed to sharing the Graduate School’s culture of inclusivity with you and others. I hope you will find the Graduate School to be as welcoming and supportive as I have!
