Preparing for your big day
Cap and Gown Distribution (for students and faculty) – December 14 & 15
All distribution will take place in Moby C-Wing (east end of the Moby Complex, near the Intramural Gym) from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, December 14 and 15. Regalia will be pre-packaged in alphabetical order. You must bring a photo ID.
Name cards (used to introduce you as you cross the platform) will be available on December 15 in or immediately outside of the Intramural gym.

Parking for Ceremony
Additional information regarding parking can be obtained from CSU Parking Services at parking.colostate.edu or by calling 970-491-7041.
Name cards are used by the announcer to introduce you as you cross the platform at the ceremony. You will hand the card to the announcer’s assistant when you walk up the ramp.
Name cards will be available on December 15 from 8:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m in Moby C-Wing (east end of the Moby Complex, near the Intramural Gym) or you may pick up your name card from December 11-14 at the Graduate School Office, 108 Student Services. Students are responsible for bringing their name cards on the day of Commencement for use during the ceremony.
Line-up for Ceremony
Time: 2:10 pm MT
Place: Moby Arena Intramural Gym (East of Moby Arena down the long hallway by the swimming pools).
Ph.D. students and their advisors will assemble on the west side of the Intramural Gym, and master’s students will assemble on the east side of the Intramural Gym to receive final instructions for the processional and ceremony.
Grad Images, a professional photography service, will be taking photographs at the ceremony. Visit their website, www.gradimages.com, and click on Pre-Event Email Registration to see discount offers.
Graduates receive a diploma cover at Commencement. The actual diplomas will be mailed to graduates six to eight weeks after commencement. For those unable to attend the ceremonies, diploma covers are available in the Registrar’s Office (at no charge). Diploma covers can be ordered by calling 970-491-7159.
Announcements from CB Grad Announcements and class rings from Josten’s are available. Announcement orders may be placed at www.cbgrad.com or by calling 800-433-0296. Customized orders are returned within seven days of being ordered. Generic announcements (non-personalized announcements) may be purchased at the University Bookstore any time. For custom class rings sales, please visit Josten’s website.
