Preliminary Thesis/Dissertation Checks for Spring 2010 Graduates
Insure that your thesis or dissertation submission goes smoothly. Have preliminary formatting checked for your
Title, Signature and Abstract pages
of your thesis or dissertation by emailing it to
grad_thesis_checks@colostate.edu
December 1st through March 26th.
Your thesis or dissertation must be submitted and approved by the published
deadline date
of the student’s graduating term in order to graduate in a given semester. Please familiarize yourself with the required process and deadlines prior to the semester you plan to graduate.
The
Thesis and Dissertation Manual
includes information for formatting your thesis or dissertation.
Sample pages for thesis
or
sample pages for dissertation
are available for the Title Page, Copyright Page (optional), Signature Page, and Abstract. The pages in your thesis or dissertation must conform to these sample pages.
Review the
Checklist for Format Requirements
which lists additional pages and forms that are required to be submitted with your thesis or dissertation.
Your title page, copyright page (optional), signature page, and abstract will be reviewed for correct formatting when you submit your thesis or dissertation to the Graduate School.
When submitting your thesis or dissertation, we suggest that you bring your electronic version on a flash drive to make corrections if needed. Up to ten corrected pages may be printed at the Graduate School. Other offices that may be of assistance are your department and computer labs at Colorado State University.
Once approved, the final step will be for you to deliver your thesis or dissertation to room 210 in the Library.
