    Many of us struggle with creating inclusive conversation: What do I say? How do I say it? This session explores the concept of Intent vs Impact and how we can unintentionally create a hostile environment for our colleagues, students, and employees. We explore common phrases which marginalize campus members and discuss best practices to creating inclusive conversations.   • Everyday Ally: What Can I Do? February 6, 2017

    What is an ally? Can one call themselves an ally or do you need to prove you are an ally? This session will explore keys to ally development, discuss skills to recognize when an intervention is necessary, provide tools to intervene, and an opportunity for application through case studies.
